No question, fiction has its place.
Rather, places, plural, as it goes these days. Many , many places. Many. And yet folks, I digress once more.
I do enjoy the well crafted variety. Science. Comedic. Historic. Cartoonic. Not so much pulpic. That one tends to leave me with fiction burns.
But having lived a sadly fictional existence for far too long. I am not sure I can honestly entertain the thought of asking a genie to grant me one more wish.
This one did have his moments.
Robin, especially.
It is just that these days, I am entirely focused on making myself more of a non-fictional character. Not one born of a bottle.
Perhaps some time down the road, I will do something so well, so profound and so in good character, that others – and myself – won’t believe it. A conundrum never thought possible.
Huh.
Perhaps that might fulfill today’s assignment.
Let’s make that my genuine and only wish.
No genie, nor bottle, needed.
To finally just be Mark.

Speak Life
I have divine life – an everlasting life that is filled with absolute health and soundness of mind and body. The indestructible life of God is in every bone of my body and in every cell of my blood. Therefore, I live in divine health in Christ Jesus. I refuse to acknowledge any sickness, hindrance, or limitation in my life. I refuse to fear, I refuse to be defeated, and I refuse to be sick! I refuse to let my body be subject to any form of sickness or disease because I am more than a conqueror in the matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
My faith is the victory that overcomes fear, sickness, disease and infirmities. I walk in dominion over the elements of this world. I’m furnished with the requisite knowledge for life in Christ, through the Word. The eyes of my understanding are being enlightened. Therefore, I have insight into mysteries and secrets; there’s nothing that I can’t know. Christ is my wisdom, and the Word of God informs me daily, through the Holy Spirit. I’m filled with the fullness of God; loaded with all power, glory, might, and grace!
I’m ever strong in faith, giving glory to God! No sickness, disease or infirmity can thrive in my body because I’m joined to the Lord and I’m one spirit with Him. Divine life and unfailing health and strength are at work in every fibre of my being, in every cell of my blood, and in every bone of my body. I’m a life-giving spirit, a dispenser and distributor of eternal life, and the eternal realities of the Kingdom in the matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
