What do you think is the future of AI?

Honestly, I am not up to speed on this subject. I hear a lot of “expert” opinion on the subject. Now whether it is the truth or simply meant to register clicks and fortify influence, I could not tell you.
I do “hear” about its presence in the classrooms. How it is seen as a mode of work avoidance. As to maintain or grow time needed for more positive and lasting ventures, such as posting, scrolling and looksmaxxing.
I also know from others that it can be a valued tool to create a presentation, give structure to a plan or lay out a project. You simply tell it how you want it and it does it. All that is left is to proof it, correct and hit “save”. I guess.
That is the true extent of my exposure and knowledge of the subject.
What I think?
Well, for now, it may be coined as purely artificial intelligence. But as long as it is partnered with the human psyche, weaknesses, ego and all that entails, I am wary. Weary of the nonsense about the subject. Wary moreso of the immense potential for deceit, guided only by the worst of our nature.
Born artifically.
Please, bear with me.
I have only known you via this mode for a short time. So I will defer from the obvious and refrain from saying bare with me. Sorry for the divgation again friends. My genetically paternal instinct for horrific puns is all natural. No artificial anything. Whoa. There was an opening for another one, that of the dialect Francais. But I will just let that pass. Quel dommage.
So, over the course of my life, I willingly enrolled in a curriculum of deception, guided by an onslaught of poor choices, infinite acts lacking in character, and an adherence to ego. All largely generated by no sense of worth, usually because I chose to let others determine that. All of which led me to other unhealthy choices, further deepening the hole and walls I dug and built. Earned myself a PhD.
“Piled higher and deeper”.
The reason I mention this as it pertains to AI is that while many may not have ventured to my level in terms of deceit and dishonesty, at the end of the day, we are all human. Having ego and pride are just there. They turn up around the corner. Or are the hanging fruit on an apple tree. Leading to mastery in placing ourselves on pedastals. Judging others. Exercising self-exoneration. You name it. All across the spectrum.
Back to my synopsis of using it to generate a project. You are to speak as to what the project or presentation is meant to convey and create. Then once you approve of it, it is yours to share as reality. The truth you seek to display. The way you want others to flow towards.
What then becomes of the truth when it could be articially tweaked, adjusted and generated? Intelligence when it is shifted to a keyboard for ease and efficiency? Can it be done for good? Sure it can.
But by who’s definition?

Oz?
Conversely, what if it then becomes a propogator of ego and pride? Judgement? Self-exoneration at the expense of others.
A tool of manipulation and control.
Human frailties now generated artifically across a far broader audience. And passed along as intelligence.
That low hanging fruit just got easier to take.
No garden needed.
Just swipe up for the truth.
