What’s your best tip for budget travel?

I happened upon a wonderful site that I would heartily recommend to all. 

A thirty second commute brought me here, to East Emily Shores. 

Two weeks ago, there was a Squash Fest.  We are now into Tomato Days.  Well, maybe weeks.  The weather is superb,  featuring a breeze off the lake and there is an abundance of seating.  

The food truck – The East Emily Buffet – is set just behind the venue, featuring breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the day, at all hours.  Portions are generous and the meals are complimentary. 

Not one, but three showers are available on site  if you need to refresh or remove the Backyards Off.  Nap time or bed time is completely on your schedule.  And provided security is not barking at a car, jogger or other security pupsonnel, rest time is peaceful and safe. 

For those on a tight budget, like we, finding this escape just outside your door is the best way to travel.  

Maybe a fire, wieners and s’mores are available.  

Next year? 

Maybe a venture down West Emily Lane.
